Deborah Davis offers business-oriented, pragmatic guidance to companies in all aspects of brand protection and expansion. Her decades of experience in trademark, copyright, advertising, and promotions matters forged a holistic legal approach that helps clients navigate complex market and consumer realities to safeguard and grow these critical assets.

Prior to re-joining Pranger Law, Deborah was responsible for many famous and well-known trademarks covering technology, gaming and a wide variety of consumer products. Most recently, she served as Director of Legal at The Clorox Company, where she managed an extensive global trademark portfolio (including BRITA, BURT’S BEES, CLOROX, GLAD, HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH and KINGSFORD), set brand protection initiatives, and developed legal frameworks for marketing, licensing, and product launches across multiple product categories. Her career also includes senior roles at Electronic Arts Inc. (FIFA, MADDEN, THE SIMS) and Zynga Inc. (FARMVILLE, WORDS WITH FRIENDS). Earlier in her career, Deborah practiced at leading law firms, including Cooley LLP and Arnold & Porter (fka Howard Rice) as well as Pranger Law.

Deborah is a frequent speaker on brand protection strategies and advertising/marketing law, and was recognized by Financial Times Innovative Lawyers in 2023 for her excellence in corporate legal practice.
