Senior Trademark Paralegal, Amy Weber, has over 20 years of experience assisting clients with their trademark needs, including search and clearance, prosecution, policing, and enforcement of rights. She has supported the clearance and registration of thousands of trademarks for clients ranging from new brands for early-stage start-ups to multinational corporations’ famous and well known marks. Ms. Weber has exceptional global experience, managing trademark filings and portfolios spanning over 180 countries to obtain valuable trademark rights for clients and to enforce intellectual property rights against infringers.
Ms. Weber is well versed in managing major trademark portfolios with thousands of filings, including for trademark owners with over 20,000 active trademarks. She has also worked with some of the world’s most famous brands across a wide range of industries, including hospitality, software, media and entertainment, food and beverage, professional sports, social media, apparel, furniture, and home goods. She has worked on hundreds of dispute matters including cease and desist, proceedings before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, working with foreign associates on trademark oppositions and cancellations in other countries, and Uniform Domain Name Dispute arbitrations, as well as supporting dispute resolutions with consent, co-existence, and settlement agreements.
Prior to joining Pranger Law, Amy spent a combined 18 years at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP and its merged predecessor, Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP. In addition to a paralegal certificate, she has an undergraduate degree in English (with a concentration in non-fiction writing) and a master’s degree in history.
